  1. IMPORTANT MESSAGE!

  3. If you are running a version of Nuclear War that is less than v7.60 then
  4. you MUST do the following before you install this updated version.
  5.  
  6. This is a major update and would usually be available for $6.00 plus $4.00
  7. shipping and handling. All major upgrades require receiving a new key that
  8. will allow you to run this and future versions.
  9.  
  10. Digital Interface Software is offering this updated version FREE. All you
  11. need to do before installing this new version is call our support bbs, leave
  12. us E-Mail with your Current Registration# and within 24hrs you may call back
  13. and download your new key. After you receive you new key follow these simple
  14. directions.

  16. 1. Copy the new key to your Nuclear War Directory
  17. 2. Unzip this new version into your Nuclear War Directory
  18. 3. Run the installation feature with the NUKE /I command
  19.    and answer the questions as you did when you first ran it.

  21. This new version WILL NOT cause any changes in your current games that
  22. users on your BBS are involved in. Most of the upgrades were changes in
  23. the installation program to allow easier adding/editing of each individual
  24. Node Config file.

  26. Another addition that was made was that the Sysop may now enter the Sysop
  27. Maintenance section without actually playing the game. You will be prompted
  28. if you want to do Maintenance Only. This feature is being added to all our
  29. doors.

  31. Note: If you are not currently registered for Nuclear War then all you need
  32. to do is steps 2 and 3 above.
